The slender aircraft aluminium alloy shaft provides the necessary support for walking and negotiating moderate snow slopes yet drives easily into all but the hardest snow packs.     ___ The Raven is equipped with a Slider Leash that helps prevent it disappearing down the mountain as well as providing extra support when engaged in pick work.
